Fall has officially arrived with the opening of The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden. The family greets about 25,000 people from all over central Alabama in the one month, Swann said. The covered wagon ride includes your choice of a pumpkin at the patch. Smaller, larger and additional pumpkins can be purchased at the entrance. Call us about hosting your birthday party, private and your corporate events. The Bungee Run can be rented for home or private parties and is a great event for college groups to bring on campus!
It's fall, y'all! Here on the Gulf Coast, the change of season is often marked only by the silence that fills the air when the air-conditioner finally stops running. Still, we love the fall, from boots to football to chili, just like the rest of Alabama does.
We also love hayrides, pumpkin patches and corn mazes, which offer family fun throughout the month of October. Here's a list of some of the best places to experience the best of autumn in Coastal Alabama.
Let AL.com help you plan your perfect weekend trip to the farm.
